Your Opportunity:
As a Respiratory Therapist on the Supportive Living Team you will provide services to clients living within multiple Continuing Care Type B Homes within the southwest part of Central Zone. Your home base will be Bremner Community Health Centre in Red Deer. You will work closely with and be part of a multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Recreation Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Respiratory Therapy, and Therapy Assistants. You will have the support of the Allied Health Manager, Team Lead, Professional Practice Lead, and your fellow Respiratory Therapists. Red Deer is located in Central Alberta near the midpoint of the Calgary–Edmonton Corridor and is surrounded by Red Deer County. The Red Deer area has one of the fastest growing economies in North America and is consistently ranked as a prime location for doing business. Description:
As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will assess patients (clients, resident), develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress. You will be responsible for various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and interventions. You will collaborate with various clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes. You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments.

Required Qualifications:
Active or eligible registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CRTA).
