Key information

Red Deer’s September 2026 to August 2027 fare table sets adult, youth, student and senior prices. MyRide holds ride bundles or monthly passes, and outlet services differ.

How the service works

Choose the fare product before choosing the outlet. A monthly pass and a twelve-ride bundle both use MyRide, but they cover different travel patterns. Ask for the transfer when paying and keep it for the next permitted connection; it is not an unlimited return ticket.

The city’s new-card and reload table is reproduced in full below. The Polytechnic entry names the student association office without a street address in that source, so its map is a campus-level destination. Sorensen Station’s main contact address is 4830 48 Street; a separate lost-property paragraph on the same city page gives 4890, a conflict noted for review.

Exceptions and help

Should I register the card?

Registration provides value protection: remaining value can transfer after a lost or stolen registered card, with the $5 new-card fee. An unregistered card does not have that stated protection.

Can I still pay cash?

Yes. Have exact fare because operators cannot make change. The city accepts only five- and ten-dollar bills, and does not accept pennies orUScurrency.

How do transfers work?

Ask when boarding and paying by cash or twelve-ride card. A transfer is valid for the next bus until its printed time and not for a return trip on the issuing bus. Monthly passes need no transfer.
