How the service works
Use the utility account number from the correct service address. Each address has a unique account, and a move creates another number. A payment sent to a former address or to the tax account may not settle the utility bill you intended.
The utility counter accepts credit cards, while the city’s property-tax payment page says credit cards are not accepted for taxes. Keep those two services separate. PAWS is an authorization to withdraw the billed amount on its due date; cancelling it means another payment route is still needed for outstanding bills.
